Established more than two years ago, GCrypt has rapidly gone from strength to strength. Set up to develop and sell innovative proprietary software that enables the secure electronic delivery of a wide range of business documentation, GCrypt now has a diverse range of clients from both the public and private sector.
Our aim was to produce a cost effective, environmentally friendly solution that did not require any upfront investment in order for our customers to realize the benefits.
Our solution is web centric PKI software, which allows senders and recipients of sensitive data to exchange secure emails without the need for them to have to purchase their own secure certificates to generate encryption keys. Now protected by a European patent, our software is leading the way in the secure electronic document transfer market.
Headed by Michael Alculumbre, who successfully built the payment company Protx before selling it to FTSE 100 accounting software vendor The Sage Group Plc, we have built a core UK management team that has substantial experience of the UK software industry. All of us have been recruited from a variety of commercial, sales, marketing and business development roles from within Protx, Sage and Sec Pay.
Our underlying SSLPost software ensures that confidential business documents, ranging from pay slips through to invoices, can be sent electronically with the confidence that they will reach their desired recipients without passing into the wrong hands. We have included a recorded delivery element so that electronic documents can go to a nominated IP address thereby allowing the sender to know when a message has been opened and how many times it has been opened by the recipient.
The SSLPost software is both highly configurable & customizable with two solutions already in the market. The first is a SAP NetWeaver ERP service that can transfer documents directly from SAP straight into a recipients email inbox and the second is our ePayRewards service that focuses on the transfer of secure electronic pay slips. With the latter solution we are now working with a number of payroll bureaus and media agencies to open up the opportunities of promoting employee rewards around each e-pay slip that is delivered. The opportunity for this type of initiative is huge with scalability forecast to deliver more than 2 million monthly e-pay slips within the next 12 months.
SSLPost is fully compliant with EU and HMRC legislation for the delivery of electronic invoicing and uses an approved Advanced Electronic Signature (AES) as defined by the electronic invoicing legislation.
The opportunities for diversification using our software are substantial across all businesses but we have decided to focus on two specific streams within the UK:
