Known Issues

If you have received a secure email from SSLPost and you are having trouble decoding the message, please check the compatibility notes below:

Email Compatibility Issues

Client Issue Resolution
Yahoo! Mail Decode button does not display on large messages. Save the attachment to disk and open the file in your browser manually.
Outlook Web Access Decode button takes you to the login page. To prevent Microsoft Exchange from corrupting the message, go to your user settings and elect to receive the message as a ZIP file.

Browser Compatibility Issues

Client Issue Resolution
Safari Decoded messages are saved as "sslpost.dll" Open the saved file with a text editor to view the message.

Locating the Browser Padlock

If you have trouble verifying that your connection is secure, check below to determine how to locate the browser security padlock.

Client Where to look
Firefox / Mozilla Grey padlock in the bottom right corner. Also, the location bar turns yellow.
Internet Explorer Up the top, to the right of the location bar.
Safari Grey padlock in the top right of your browser.
